Determining If Your Phone Is Locked to a Carrier

To use an eSIM, your phone must be carrier-unlocked. Here's how to check:

For iOS (iPhones and iPads):

1. Go to "Settings" > "General" > "About".

2. Look for "Carrier Lock" or "Network Provider Lock".

   - If it lists a carrier, your phone is locked. Please contact your carrier for unlocking.

   - If it says "No SIM restrictions," your phone is unlocked and ready for eSIMs.

iOS Settings Steps to Check Carrier Lock

For Android (Samsung, Google, etc.):

1. Go to "Settings" > "Network & Internet" or "Connections".

2. Tap "Cellular Network" or "Mobile Network" > "Advanced".

3. Select "Choose Network" or "Automatically Select Network".

   - If only one carrier shows, your phone is likely locked. Contact your carrier for help.

   - If multiple carriers are listed, your phone is unlocked.

Note: Some carriers, like Verizon, might not unlock phones within the first six months.
